A few weeks ago we had the pleasure to have a talk from a well known portrait photographer known as Anita Corbin. It was great being able to understand how she goes about her shoots and what inspires hers and how she started out and branched out into this well respected photographer that she is.
She talked to us about her most recent project which is all about the first women to ever do things such as race in the grand national or play at a gold club. It was amazing to see that she can take such a simple thing and make it into a huge project which not only has her being recognized over in the UK but is being shown all over the world even in the USA.
Before finishing her talk she set us a project to take an image of someone inspirational who we know or works in the community, I decided to use my grandma as not only has she had cancer three times and beating it but she is now living with one and half lung and still carries on her normal day to day activities.
